This photo shows part of a large park on the headland above the old town of Gijon. This specific shot is taken at the foot of the park where there are some old ruins.
Here is another photo of the same park which offers great views out to sea and which is also popular with tourists and locals. As can be seen it features some sculpture.
There is a tourist bus that travels around the old town and it can be seen here, making its way up towards the park zone.
With its coastal location, much of the city is close to, or facing the sea. There are two big beaches running around the city
