As passengers on the Fred Olsen cruise ship "Braemar" we had a wonderful welcome by crowds of people in Aviles on the 2nd May 2012. Its a charming town with lots of interesting buildings and things to see. We found the people of the town very friendly and helpful. We would love to return in the future.

I visited Aviles two months ago and stayed there for only one week but I still see it in my dreams. The city is so clean and the people in Aviles are so kind and friendly. The old city is marvellous and there are so many historical buildings and I think Aviles deserves to be in Unesco's list of historical towns. The town I live in is in the list but I admit that Aviles is definitely more beautiful.If you go to Aviles for a holiday, I'm sure you will be affected just like me and want to go there again.

I have visited many a place in spain, some parts very hot but nothing to see, the history of aviles is amazing, also the people, the festival in July is second to none amazing cant describe, weather both rain and sun however managed to tan, and met the man of my DREAMS.
